Hodgdon's Triple Seven Pellets in the 45/50 configuration deliver the high-energy performance of a modern black-powder substitute in a clean-burning, pre-formed pellet. Designed for in-line .45 caliber muzzleloading rifles, each 50-grain pellet loads quickly and burns consistently down the bore.

These pellets may be used in 45 caliber muzzleloader barrels with appropriate projectiles, or paired with sabots to launch smaller 40 caliber bullets for a wide range of game from squirrel to deer. Unlike traditional black powder, Triple Seven leaves behind a water-soluble residue that washes cleanly from the bore with plain water, eliminating the corrosive fouling that makes post-shot clean-up a chore.

Engineered to ignite reliably behind standard 209 shotshell primers, the ignition of choice for modern in-line muzzleloaders, each factory box contains 50 pellets for fast and accurate charge counts in the field. Hodgdon packages them 12 boxes per case for hunters and reloaders stocking up for the season.
