Hodgdon Pyrodex 44/30 Pistol Pellets 30gr 100/Box - Muzzleloading Propellant

The Hodgdon Pyrodex 44/30 Pistol Pellets are pre-formed, 30-grain black powder substitute charges designed for use in .44 and .45 caliber cap and ball revolvers. They may also be loaded and fired in .45 caliber in-line muzzleloading rifles. Each pellet is volumetrically metered so shooters simply drop a single pellet down the bore for a quick, consistent, mess-free charge without weighing loose powder.

Pyrodex is Hodgdon's classic black powder substitute, formulated to burn cleaner than real black powder while delivering comparable ballistics. The pellets are sized specifically for the larger powder charges needed by pistol-caliber percussion revolvers and full-size muzzleloader bores, letting cap and ball shooters skip the powder flask and the spillage.
