HM Defense Defender M5 5.56x45mm NATO 16" 30+1 Semi-Auto Rifle

The HM Defense Defender M5 is a semi-automatic AR-15 platform rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, built around a 16" match-grade barrel and offering a 30+1 round capacity. Designed for tactical, duty, and defensive applications, the Defender M5 pairs HM Defense's proprietary HM MonoBloc barrel profile with a hard-use carbine configuration ready to accept any standard red dot, holographic, or low-power variable optic.

At the heart of the rifle is a 4150 Chrome Moly match-grade barrel with an integral machined gas block and a 1:8" twist for stabilized accuracy across a broad range of bullet weights. A factory-installed muzzle brake tames felt recoil for faster follow-up shots. The 7075-T6 aluminum receiver is finished in black hardcoat anodized for corrosion resistance and long-term durability in adverse conditions.

Controls are familiar to any AR-15 shooter: a Mil-Spec trigger paired with a manual thumb safety. The rifle wears a black Mil-Spec HM buttstock and an enhanced polymer pistol grip, configured for right-hand shooters. The flattop upper is optic ready with no iron sights installed, allowing the end user to dial in their preferred sighting system. Finished in classic black, this brand-new rifle ships ready for duty, defense, or range use.
