It speeds up the loading of full-size 1911-pattern single-stack magazines in 9mm Luger, .45 ACP, .40 S&W, 10mm, and .38 Super.

Designed for single-stack pistol mags from Colt, Ruger, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, and Taurus large-frame single-line pistols, the HKS 451 is fully adjustable to fit a range of magazine widths and capacities. The magazine slips into the loader and is held in place while the thumb lever feeds rounds one at a time - the manufacturer rates the loader at roughly 15 rounds in 18 seconds.
