The HK VP9A1 X Tactical w/Optic is a striker-fired 9mm Luger service pistol from Heckler & Koch that pairs a full-size polymer frame with a more compact slide profile, factory-cut for an optic and shipped ready to run with an included Vortex CCW red dot. Built around a 4.70" hammer-forged threaded barrel, this configuration is set up for suppressed use, defensive carry, and duty applications, with suppressor-height sights that deliver a clean 1/3 co-witness through the optic window and 10+1 capacity. Two 10-round magazines ship with the pistol.

The black steel slide carries aggressive front and rear serrations for positive manipulation under stress and is cut from the factory for an optic, so the Vortex CCW drops on without modification. A factory Picatinny accessory rail runs under the dust cover for mounting weapon lights or lasers, and the ambidextrous paddle-style magazine releases - a hallmark of the VP9A1 platform - make the pistol equally comfortable for right- and left-handed shooters.

A textured grip frame provides a secure, controllable hold, while the A1 trigger and updated controls tighten the shooter-to-pistol connection that the VP9 line is known for. The threaded muzzle (M13.5x1 LH) accepts a direct-thread suppressor or muzzle device, and the suppressor-height iron sights keep the dot visible in the optic window whether the slide is topped with the Vortex CCW or another compatible red dot.
