The Hiviz DOVM500 is a replacement rifle front sight built to drop directly into a standard 3/8" dovetail with a blade height of .500" (1/2"). Designed as a direct upgrade for factory iron front blades, it gives any rifle equipped with a 3/8" dovetailed front sight a fast-acquire, bright aiming reference without giving up the rugged simplicity of a fixed post.

Part of Hiviz's interchangeable LitePipe family, the DOVM500 ships with both green and red fiber-optic LitePipe inserts so the shooter can swap the pipe color to match prevailing light conditions or personal preference - no tools required to change colors.
