The Hi-Point HP-15 brings the manufacturer's semi-auto centerfire rifle line into the AR-style platform as a carbine chambered in 5.56 NATO. The 16" threaded barrel is machined from Chrome Moly Vanadium steel with a 1:8 twist rate for stable performance across a broad range of bullet weights and is finished in matte black, with an A2 birdcage muzzle device pre-installed at the crown. An aluminum receiver anchors the action, and familiar AR-pattern controls include a 90-degree manual safety selector and a Mil-Spec charging handle.

Up front, a 15" M-LOK handguard provides generous accessory real estate for lights, lasers, foregrips, and bipods along its slotted M-LOK rails. Backup iron sighting is handled by UTG flip-up front and rear sights that tuck neatly against the handguard when stowed and deploy quickly when needed. The carbine measures 33.25" overall and tips the scales at 6.25 lbs unloaded, making it a manageable rifle for the range.

The HP-15R-556DS wears a Desert Storm camouflage finish on the stock, paired with a B5 Bravo adjustable stock for length-of-pull and cheek-weld adjustment and a B5 P-Grip 23 pistol grip for positive control. With a 30+1 capacity, this 5.56 NATO carbine is ready for range training, recreational plinking, and home defense duty.
