Hevishot HEVI-Hammer Upland is a non-toxic shotshell purpose-built for hunters chasing pheasants, quail, and other upland birds. This 12 Gauge load uses a 2.75-inch hull to push a 1-1/4 oz payload of layered shot, with the bismuth and steel layered in the same pellet size so the pattern stays even and uniform downrange.

HEVI-Hammer pairs a top layer of 15% high-density bismuth over a base layer of 85% precision steel pellets, both loaded as #5 shot. Because bismuth carries substantially more energy than steel at extended range, the combined payload hits harder at typical upland distances while still meeting non-toxic shot requirements in areas where lead is prohibited. This is a true upland Hunting load, not a waterfowl or turkey shell, making it a smart choice for mixed-bag field days.
