The 18 g/cc TSS (tungsten super shot) pellets are denser than lead, so a smaller #7 pellet still carries lethal energy, penetrates harder, and patterns tighter than conventional lead, plated, bismuth, or even steel at the same velocity.

Smaller shot at high density means more pellets on target, with the 2-1/4 oz payload delivering roughly 417 pellets of #7 tungsten per shell. Patterns stay dense out to 40 and 50 yards, putting this load squarely in the long-range turkey category.
