The Henry Axe is a compact, fast-handling 410 Bore lever-action shotgun purpose-built for short-range field work where a light, maneuverable shotgun excels. Part of Henry's X Model lineup, the Axe pairs a 15.14" round blued steel barrel with an overall length of just 26.40", making it exceptionally quick to deploy from the hip, a saddle scabbard, or tight cover while still delivering the smooth, reliable lever action Henry Repeating Arms is known for.

At the core of the Axe is a blued, drilled and tapped steel receiver ready for optics or other rail-mounted accessories, paired with a black fixed synthetic stock that shrugs off weather, scratches, and rough use. The action cycles cleanly through a traditional lever, feeding from an internal tube magazine for a total capacity of 5+1 rounds. Per factory specifications, the Axe is chambered for 2-1/2" 410 Bore shotshells. A bright fiber optic front sight on the barrel provides fast target acquisition in low light, and the proven transfer bar safety keeps the hammer safely decocked until the lever is fully cycled.
