Henry H012PGR44M Protector Carbine .44 Mag/.44 Special 16.5" 7+1 Lever Action Rifle

The Henry Protector Carbine (H012PGR44M) is a compact lever-action carbine chambered for .44 Magnum and fully compatible with .44 Special. It pairs a 16.50" round blued steel threaded barrel with a blued steel drilled-and-tapped receiver, giving you a traditional repeater with a scope-mount-ready action.

The carbine runs on Henry's proven lever-action design and feeds from a tubular magazine holding 7+1 rounds. An internal transfer-bar safety comes standard. The American walnut fixed stock wears a pistol-grip shape that fills the hand naturally and is capped with a solid rubber recoil pad to take the edge off magnum loads. Overall length measures 34" and the rifle weighs 6.59 lbs, giving it the compact handling of a true carbine. The barrel's 1:20 twist stabilizes a wide range of .44 Mag and .44 Special bullet weights.

Practical details include sling swivel studs front and rear, a fully blued finish on the barrel and receiver, and a drilled-and-tapped receiver that accepts standard scope mount bases (bases sold separately) for red-dot or low-power variable optic mounting.
