Built around a 16.5" round blued steel barrel mated to a blued steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for scope bases, it tips the scales at 6.59 lbs and stretches to a 34" overall length, making it an easy-carry companion for brush and trail alike.

The Carbine's calling card is the side loading gate machined into the receiver, which lets the shooter top off or change cartridges through the receiver without cycling rounds through the tube end. The action is Henry's smooth lever, protected by a transfer bar safety that physically prevents the hammer from contacting a chambered round until the trigger is deliberately pulled. The tubular magazine holds 7+1 rounds of .44 Magnum (or .44 Special), making this a trim carbine that does not give up much capacity to its longer-barreled Big Boy siblings.
