The Henry H010GAW All Weather Side Gate is a rugged, purpose-built lever-action rifle chambered in .45-70 Government and engineered to shrug off the worst weather the backcountry can throw at it. Part of Henry's H10 family, this Side Gate configuration adds a true loading gate on the receiver for fast, single-cartridge loading without removing the tube magazine — a feature long-requested by hunters who run a mix of ammunition types in the field.

At the heart of the rifle is an 18.43-inch round barrel finished in satin hard chrome, paired with a satin hard chrome-plated steel receiver. The corrosion-resistant plating makes the All Weather platform ideally suited to coastal salt air, snow, swamp, and wet-weather hunts where blued steel would otherwise demand constant maintenance. Barrel twist is 1:20, the standard rate for stabilizing heavy .45-70 projectiles.

The action is a buttery-smooth lever-action fed by a dual-load tube magazine with a 4+1 capacity (one in the chamber plus four in the tube). A traditional side loading gate allows topping off the magazine without unthreading the tube, while the signature large loop lever makes cycling easy with gloved hands in cold weather or on horseback. Adjustable rear sights paired with a brass bead front sight provide a clean, traditional sight picture suitable for a wide variety of loads.
