The Henry Big Boy Carbine Side Gate H012GRCC brings the classic American lever-action into a compact carbine configuration chambered in .44 Magnum (also compatible with .44 Special). Built on a color case hardened steel receiver paired with a 16.5" blued octagon barrel and an American walnut stock, this rifle blends the traditional styling of the Big Boy series with the fast handling of a shorter barrel.

The side loading gate allows quick top-offs of the tubular magazine without unloading the tube, holding 7+1 rounds of .44 Mag. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics, and the rifle wears a classic sight picture with a brass bead front sight and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight. A transfer bar safety prevents the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled, adding modern safe handling to the traditional lever-action platform.

At 34.10" overall length and 7.41 lbs, with a 1:20" twist, the Carbine offers a more compact package than the full-length 20" Big Boy. The straight-grip American walnut stock is shaped for right-hand shooting and pairs with a blued steel forearm.
