The Guntec USA Mini Slip-Over Barrel Shroud with Multi-Port Muzzle Brake is a US-made, dual-purpose muzzle accessory designed for the .308 Winchester AR platform. Machined from lightweight T6 aluminum and finished in anodized clear, this compact unit threads on at 5/8x24 and serves as both a barrel shroud and a multi-port muzzle compensator.

The slip-over design allows the shroud to slide over the barrel nut area, with the actual 5/8x24 threads beginning approximately 1.25" down the shroud for straightforward installation. The multi-port muzzle brake face vents gases to help counteract muzzle rise and assist with faster follow-up shots, while the surrounding shroud provides a clean, protective profile around the barrel nut and tapered shoulder. The slim mini profile keeps the overall length addition modest, a useful feature for shooters building a compact AR-10/.308 carbine or looking to minimize snag points while still gaining compensator performance.
