Guntec USA AR-15 Stainless Steel Crush Washer 1/2x28

The Guntec USA AR-15 Stainless Steel Crush Washer is a small but essential muzzle accessory used to correctly align and time the vast majority of AR-15 muzzle devices. When installing a flash hider, compensator, or muzzle brake, this crush washer fills the gap between the device and the barrel shoulder so the ports, vents, or prongs end up in the right orientation and the device is properly indexed.

Cut for the standard 1/2x28 thread pitch used on 5.56x45mm NATO / 223 Remington AR-15 barrels, this washer is precision-machined from stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance. It is intended as a single-use crush washer: when the muzzle device is torqued to spec against the washer, the washer deforms to the correct thickness and locks the device in the desired position. The stainless finish blends well with stainless barrels and most common muzzle-device finishes.

Installation is straightforward: thread the crush washer onto the barrel, followed by the muzzle device, then torque the device against the washer until timing is correct. Always confirm orientation before firing and follow the muzzle device manufacturer's recommended torque specification to seat the washer properly.
