The Guntec USA MCS-R is a collapsible AR-15 buttstock built around the company's Multi Caliber Stock (M.C.S.) architecture and sized specifically for the 5.56 / .223 Remington platform. The high-density polymer body is molded with multiple weight-reducing cutouts to keep mass down without sacrificing rigidity, and the integrated adjustable cheek riser uses a multi-point locking system so the shooter can dial in a consistent cheek weld alongside red dots, holographic sights, low-power variable optics, and magnifiers without resorting to shims or riser plates.

Constructed from high-density polymer in a black finish, the MCS-R is capped with a neoprene rubber buttpad that absorbs recoil and helps keep the rifle planted during strings of fire. The cheek riser locks at multiple positions to provide the lift needed to line the eye up with magnified optics, while the collapsible length-of-pull adjustment lets the stock fit a wide range of shooters and applications from home defense to three-gun and recreational range use.

Designed and manufactured in the USA by Guntec USA, the MCS-R is intended as a replacement or upgrade for factory AR-15-pattern stocks. It measures approximately 2.15 in x 7.75 in x 12.70 in.
