Guntec USA 7" Ultra Lightweight Thin M-LOK Free Float Handguard - AR-15 - Black

The Guntec USA 7" Ultra Lightweight Thin M-LOK Free Float Handguard (Model GT-7MLK) is a slim, carbine-length rail upgrade for the AR-15 platform. Machined from a single piece of 6061-T6 aluminum with a matte black anodized finish, this handguard uses Guntec's proprietary lightweight aluminum profile to keep front-end mass to a minimum while still delivering a true free-float platform.

At 7" long, with a 1.5" outer diameter and a 2" overall height, this rail weighs approximately 6.5 oz and ships complete with Guntec's proprietary lightweight aluminum barrel nut. The handguard slides over the barrel nut and locks up to the upper receiver using six screws that pull the rail solidly against the receiver for a rigid, repeatable install that does not contact the barrel.

The handguard uses the M-LOK mounting pattern on the bottom and sides for accessories such as rails, grips, lights, and bipod mounts, while the continuous monolithic Picatinny top rail runs the full length of the handguard to support iron sights, red dots, and magnified optics. Because the rail is fully free-floated, point of impact stays consistent regardless of accessory load-out.
