The GrovTec GTHM70 Hammer Extension is a purpose-built accessory for Marlin Lever Action rifles manufactured between 1957 and 1982. It bolts onto the factory hammer and adds a horizontal spur that gives the shooter a larger contact surface for improved grip and control when cocking the lever, especially on rifles wearing an optical sight.
The extension is machined from steel and finished in a durable black coating to blend with the original hammer. Its hollow design keeps added weight to a minimum, so hammer speed and lock time remain unaffected once installed. A steel Allen head screw clamps the extension firmly in place, and it can be mounted on either the left or right side of the hammer to suit left- or right-handed shooters.
Designed as a direct fit for the Marlin Lever Action series from the 1957-1982 production run, the GTHM70 measures approximately 0.320" x 0.094" and installs with the included Allen head screw. It is an ideal, low-profile upgrade for Marlin lever-action owners who want a more positive cocking surface when running a scope or red dot.
