The Griffin Armament Taper Mount Hammer Comp is a 30 Cal muzzle compensator engineered to tame felt recoil and muzzle rise on hard-kicking rifles. Machined from 17-4 stainless steel and finished in a corrosion-resistant Black QPQ coating, the Hammer Comp uses two sacrificial baffles that progressively redirect propellant gas to keep the optic on target during rapid follow-up shots.

The Taper Mount Hammer Comp installs via a 5/8"x24 thread pattern and is built around the Taper Mount mounting system for quick, secure attachment to compatible Taper Mount barrels and adapters. At just 1.94" OAL with a 1.08" diameter, it adds minimal length and weight to the host rifle while delivering meaningful recoil mitigation for 30 Caliber applications.
