The Great Lakes Firearms GLFA AR-15 Pistol is a compact, semi-automatic AR-platform handgun chambered in 223 Wylde - a hybrid chamber that safely fires both .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition from the same barrel. This build centers on a 7.5" heavy (HBAR) barrel machined from 4150 chromoly vanadium steel, finished in black nitride, with a fast 1:8 twist that stabilizes the full range of .223/5.56 bullet weights and a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle ready for a compensator or suppressor.

The upper and lower receivers wear a distinctive bronze Cerakote finish that protects the aluminum from wear and weather while giving this pistol a head-turning look. Up top, the receiver is optic ready with a standard Picatinny rail, and a slim 7" M-LOK handguard provides plenty of accessory real estate while keeping the front end light and fast. Controls follow the familiar AR layout with a single-sided safety, and a polymer A2-style grip keeps the shooting position comfortable. A mil-spec buffer tube is installed; no pistol stabilizing brace ships with the firearm.

Feeding is handled by a single included 30-round magazine, and the GLFA AR-15 pistol comes in at an overall length of 23.5" and a weight of approximately 5.0 lbs. The result is a short, maneuverable AR pistol equally at home at the range, in a truck, or as the starting point for a customized build.
