The GLFA AR-15 from Great Lakes Firearms & Ammunition is a semi-automatic sporting rifle built on the classic AR-15 platform and chambered in the versatile .223 Wylde hybrid chamber, which safely fires both .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition. The Arctic White cerakoted finish on the upper, lower, and handguard gives this configuration a clean, distinctive look while staying true to the proven AR-15 layout.

At the heart of the rifle is a 16-inch heavy-profile barrel finished in black nitride for improved corrosion resistance and easier cleaning, paired with a 1:8 twist rate that reliably stabilizes a wide range of bullet weights from light varmint loads to heavier match and defensive projectiles. The rifle uses a standard AR-15 direct-impingement gas system and feeds from a 30-round detachable magazine for a 30+1 total capacity.
