The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 is an AR-15-pattern semi-automatic rifle purpose-built around the straight-walled 350 Legend cartridge, making it a natural fit for hunters working in states that restrict bottlenecked or traditional centerfire rifle calibers for whitetail and similar game. The action runs on a familiar Mil-Spec trigger group with a standard selector switch safety, and the rifle ships with one 5-round detachable magazine for a working capacity of 5+1.

At the front sits an 18" 416R stainless steel barrel with a 1:16" twist that is well-suited to the wide, heavy-for-caliber bullets the 350 Legend was designed around. The barrel is threaded 9/16x24 and ships capped with the factory-installed muzzle brake/compensator to help keep the straight-walled recoil impulse manageable. An aluminum receiver wears a clean black finish and supports a slim M-LOK handguard for accessory mounting. No iron sights are included, leaving the upper optics-ready for the user's preferred red dot or scope.

Furniture is kept traditional and functional: an A2-style pistol grip pairs with a carbine adjustable stock for a comfortable, customizable length-of-pull. The rifle tips the scales at just 6.40 lbs empty and stretches to 36.50" overall, light enough to carry all day in the field while still being steady on a bench or blind.
