The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 AR-15 Pistol is a short-barreled, semi-automatic platform chambered in 223 Wylde, giving it the versatility to safely fire both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition from a single chamber. Built around a compact 7.50" barrel and configured with a stabilizing brace, this GL15 brings the familiar AR-15 manual of arms to a pistol-class package well suited to home defense, truck-bed duty, or close-quarters range work.

The barrel is finished in Black Nitride and is threaded at the muzzle, ready to accept a muzzle device or suppressor of the shooter's choice. The handguard is an M-LOK design that allows direct attachment of accessories along the sides and bottom while maintaining a slim, lightweight profile, and the receiver is topped with a full-length Picatinny rail for mounting optics, iron sights, or magnifiers. Both the upper and lower receiver are machined from aluminum and finished in Charcoal Green Cerakote, providing corrosion resistance and a distinctive look that stands apart from standard black or FDE builds.

Controls follow the conventional AR-15 layout, including a selector switch with safe and fire positions, and the pistol ships with a black polymer Mil-Spec grip. Sights are not included, allowing the buyer to outfit the pistol with their preferred optic or co-witnessed iron set. Total weight is approximately 5 lbs, keeping this build light and quick to maneuver. With a 30+1 capacity, the GL15 pistol is a feature-rich, optics-ready AR platform in a compact and trim configuration.
