The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 is a semi-automatic AR-15-style rifle chambered in 223 Wylde, a versatile chambering that safely fires both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition from the same bolt and barrel.

This GL15 configuration wears an OD Green Cerakote finish across the upper and lower receivers and handguard, paired with a 16" heavy (HBAR) stainless steel barrel featuring a 1:8" twist for stabilizing a wide range of bullet weights. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 for easy mounting of the included muzzle brake or any user-supplied mount or suppressor.

Built around aluminum 7075 billet upper and lower receivers with M4 feed ramps, this rifle ships with no iron sights so the shooter can mount a red dot, holographic sight, or low-power variable optic on the flat-top picatinny rail. The slim M-LOK handguard accepts modern accessories - lights, lasers, foregrips, and bipods - without adding unnecessary bulk.

A carbine-length gas system with a black oxide gas block keeps the action cycling reliably, while the controls include a mil-spec polymer grip, mil-spec trigger, and a six-position adjustable stock with a black buttstock finish. Right-handed operation, an overall length of 33.25", and a weight of approximately 6.80 lbs round out the package.
