The Great Lakes Firearms GL-15 AR-15 is a modern sporting rifle chambered in .450 Bushmaster, built by Great Lakes Firearms & Ammo on the proven AR-15 platform. It pairs an 18" barrel finished in Black Nitride with a 1:24 rate-of-twist to stabilize heavier .450 Bushmaster projectiles, delivering straight-line performance and substantial energy at hunting and defensive ranges. The Nitride barrel treatment hardens the steel surface and provides enhanced corrosion resistance for long service life in adverse conditions.

At the core of the rifle is a mil-spec 7075 aluminum receiver set finished in a rugged Black Cerakote for corrosion resistance in harsh weather and field conditions. The semi-automatic, direct-impingement action feeds from standard AR-15-pattern magazines modified for the .450 Bushmaster case, with a listed 5+1 capacity. A free-float M-LOK handguard provides ample real estate for mounting lights, lasers, bipods, or other accessories, and the upper is optic-ready with a standard Picatinny rail ready to accept your favorite red dot or low-power variable optic.

The GL-15 features a tuned 5.5 - 6 lb trigger pull positioned 6 degrees forward for natural, comfortable finger placement and consistent shot placement. Overall length is 35.00" and the rifle weighs approximately 6.4 lbs unloaded - balanced for field carry while retaining the mass useful when managing .450 Bushmaster recoil. Proudly made in the USA.
