The Great Lakes Firearms GL-15 is a heavy-duty AR-15 platform rifle chambered in 450 Bushmaster and finished in a striking Burnt Bronze Cerakote. Purpose-built for hunters and shooters who want the knockdown power of a big-bore straight-walled cartridge in a familiar semi-automatic package, the GL-15 is assembled on forged upper and lower receivers with Mil-Spec controls for dependable performance in the field.

The 18" nitride-finished barrel is rifled with a 1:24" twist rate optimized to stabilize heavy 450 Bushmaster projectiles, and the threaded muzzle accepts a wide range of muzzle devices or aftermarket sound suppressors. An M-LOK free-float handguard surrounds the barrel, providing a Picatinny top rail plus plenty of real estate for lights, lasers, bipods, and other accessories. No iron sights are included, allowing the end user to mount their preferred red dot, holographic sight, or low-power variable optic.

Configured to feed from a detachable magazine for a 5+1 capacity, this semi-automatic direct-impingement rifle is set up for right-handed shooters and is equipped with a 6-position collapsible M4-style buttstock and an ergonomic pistol grip. The trigger is engineered with a 6-degree forward sear angle and breaks cleanly at 5.5-6 lbs. With an overall length of 35.00" and a weight of just 6.4 lbs, the GL-15 balances well for carry in the field and quick target transitions.
