The Great Lakes Firearms GL-15 is a semi-automatic AR-15 platform rifle chambered in .223 Wylde, a versatile chambering that safely and accurately fires both .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition. The GL-15 is built around a pair of aluminum billet upper and lower receivers and finished in a distinctive Cerakote Lichen Black color, giving it a premium look and feel at an accessible price point.

At the heart of the rifle is a 16" stainless steel heavy barrel with a 1:8 twist rate, a configuration well-suited to stabilizing a broad range of bullet weights from lightweight varmint projectiles through heavier 77-grain open-tip match bullets. The barrel is threaded for the attachment of a muzzle brake, compensator, or suppressor. Up top, an M-LOK handguard provides a slim, free-float mounting platform for lights, lasers, bipods, and other accessories. A polymer pistol grip and polymer trigger round out the user interface, and the carbine stretches to an overall length of 33.25".

Feeding from a standard AR-15 detachable magazine, the GL-15 ships with 30-round magazines included right out of the box, giving shooters a ready-to-go setup from the moment it arrives.
