The GLFA AR-15 Pistol from Great Lakes Firearms is a compact semi-automatic pistol built on the proven AR-15 platform and chambered in the versatile .223 Wylde, a chamber that safely accepts both .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition. This "Zombie Splatter" configuration stands out with its eye-catching splatter-pattern finish that gives the pistol a distinctive look right out of the box.

At the heart of this pistol is a 7.5" heavy barrel (HBAR) machined from 416R stainless steel with a 1:8 twist rate for stable bullet stabilization across a wide range of bullet weights. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 for standard muzzle devices and is paired with a pistol-length gas system for reliable cycling in the short platform. The action is a familiar semi-automatic direct-impingement design without an ambidextrous safety, and the pistol ships configured to feed from a 30-round detachable magazine.
