The Great Lakes Firearms AR-15 is a semi-automatic sporting rifle chambered in .223 Wylde, a versatile chambering that safely fires both .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition from the same magazine. This configuration is finished in Wild Orchid Cerakote, giving the rifle a distinctive purple look across the receiver, barrel, and furniture.

Built on a forged upper and forged lower receiver with MILSPEC controls, the GLFA AR-15 is built around a 16" nitride barrel with a 1:8 twist - well suited to stabilizing a wide range of .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO bullet weights. The rifle ships with one 30-round magazine, giving a 30+1 on-board capacity, and the upper receiver is set up optic ready for easy mounting of a red dot or low-power variable optic.

Ergonomics come courtesy of a standard pistol grip and a 6-position collapsible stock, allowing length of pull to be adjusted to fit the shooter. The overall length measures 33.25" and the rifle weighs in at 6.8 lbs. This is a new-production, factory-finished GLFA AR-15 - just add a red dot, sling, and ammunition for range day.
