The Great Lakes Firearms & Ammo AR-15 is a semi-automatic sporting rifle chambered in .223 Wylde, a versatile chambering that safely accepts both .223 Remington and 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition. The rifle is built around aluminum billet upper and lower receivers finished in Cerakote with the brand's distinctive Lichen Grey camouflage pattern, giving the platform a distinctive, hard-wearing coated finish.

At the core of the rifle is a 16" stainless steel barrel with a threaded muzzle, mated to an M-LOK handguard for flexible accessory mounting. The controls include a telescoping Buttstock, a polymer pistol grip, and a polymer trigger, providing the familiar and adaptable AR-15 manual of arms. A 30-round detachable magazine ships with the rifle, and the semi-automatic action keeps follow-up shots fast and intuitive.
