The Glock 19 Gen5 (designated "V" in Glock's internal naming) is a compact 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol and one of the most proven platforms in the company's lineup. Its reduced dimensions compared to the full-size G17 make it well-suited to a versatile role, while the full-length grip still accommodates a meaningful magazine.

Built around a 4.02" barrel and measuring 7.28" overall, the G19 Gen5 uses Glock's refined Safe Action trigger system - a consistent, safe, drop-free pull with no external manual safety to manage. The black polymer frame is molded without finger grooves for a comfortable grip across a wide range of hand sizes and ships with an interchangeable backstrap so the user can dial in the grip contour. An integral accessory rail up front accepts lights and lasers.

The slide is machined from steel with a black finish and is cut with front and rear serrations for confident press checks and easy manipulation. Chambered in 9mm Luger and fed from a flush-fit magazine that holds 10+1 rounds, the G19 Gen5 pairs compact shootability with the firepower most shooters want in a carry-sized pistol.
