What's unique about these M937B rifles?

When sorting through these rifles we found a handful of these M937B's that had one or two non-critical parts that didn't have a matching serial number to the receiver. Most no matching parts were the trigger guard, barrel band, or rear sight. These guns will ship with an original M937B bayonet and sheath (non-matching serial numbers).

The K98k was the primary rifle for the German Wehrmacht during World War II. After World War I, Germany began selling rifles to Portugal around 1931. Early contracts featured beautifully blued Mauser rifles with Portuguese crests. In the 1940s, Portugal received K98k replicas, similar to the 1941 Nazi K98k, but some were diverted to German service due to wartime losses. To compensate, Germany reclaimed K98k rifles from the Wehrmacht in 1942-1943 and delivered them to Portugal. These rifles bear the Portuguese crest and resemble the 1941 Mauser Oberndorf K98k Wehrmacht-issue rifles with Nazi markings.
