The Garmin Foretrex 901 Ballistic Edition is a rugged, wrist-mounted GPS navigator built for hunters, shooters, and tactical operators who need reliable position data and on-demand firing solutions in demanding environments. It pairs a sunlight-readable 2.2" monochrome MIP display with multi-band GNSS reception and an Applied Ballistics solver to keep you on grid and on target.

At the heart of the unit is the Applied Ballistics ballistic solver, which calculates long-range firing solutions on demand and accepts environmental inputs such as temperature, wind, and altitude. The display remains readable directly under night vision goggles thanks to NVG compatibility, and the housing is rated IPX7 waterproof and built to shrug off shock, water, and weather per Garmin's rugged construction standards.

You can store up to 500 waypoints, 100 tracks, and 50 navigation routes, while a tilt-compensated compass and advanced navigation sensors keep bearings accurate whether you are moving or holding position. Multi-band GNSS support taps multiple satellite constellations simultaneously for fast, reliable fixes under canopy or in challenging terrain.

The Foretrex 901 runs on two AAA batteries (not included) and delivers up to 100 hours of battery life per set, making it well-suited for extended trips away from power.
