FN SCAR 16S 5.56x45mm NATO 14" Chrome Lined Barrel Assembly

The FN SCAR 16S 14" Barrel Assembly is a factory OEM replacement upper barrel unit for the FN SCAR 16S rifle, chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. Built around a cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined MIL-SPEC steel barrel, this complete assembly lets the shooter swap barrel length on the SCAR 16S platform without having to piece a build together from individual components.

The barrel measures 14" with FN's 1:7 twist for stabilized performance across the 5.56 NATO weight spectrum. The chrome-lined bore and chamber are engineered for long-term corrosion resistance and extended service life under sustained fire, and the cold hammer-forged construction delivers the accuracy and durability expected of an FN MIL-SPEC component.

This is more than a bare barrel. The assembly ships as a complete drop-in unit that includes the front sight assembly, gas block, gas regulator, gas piston, flash hider, and a Picatinny rail segment up front. The flip-up front sight rides on the included rail, giving the user a ready iron-sight option once the unit is mounted to a SCAR 16S upper receiver.
