FN AR-15 5.56x45mm NATO 16" M16 Profile Mid-Length Barrel - Chrome Lined

The FN AR-15 5.56x45mm NATO 16" Barrel (FN P/N 20-100041) is a factory-spec replacement barrel built for mid-length gas system AR-15 rifles. Manufactured by FN to the same standards the company uses on its complete AR platforms, this barrel drops into any standard AR-15 upper set up for a mid-length gas system and is a straightforward upgrade or replacement for worn factory barrels.

The barrel is cold hammer forged from U.S.-sourced Chrome Moly Vanadium steel per Mil-B-11595E, then button rifled for consistent bore geometry. The chrome-lined chamber and bore extend service life and make cleaning easier, while the M4-style feed ramps and barrel extension promote reliable feeding across a wide range of 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington ammunition.

Finished in a matte Manganese Phosphate coating for corrosion and oxidation resistance, the barrel uses the standard M16 Government profile. Chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO and safe to fire commercial .223 Remington, each barrel is high pressure tested at the FN factory before shipment.
