FN AR-15 5.56x45mm NATO 16" Button-Rifled Barrel

The FN AR-15 16" Button-Rifled Barrel is a standalone replacement barrel for an AR-15 carbine-length build. It is chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and uses an M16/government profile.

FN manufactures this 16" barrel from U.S.-sourced chrome-moly-vanadium steel made to Mil-B-11595E specifications. Its button-rifled bore has a 1:7 twist rate, and the barrel is configured for a carbine-length gas system.

The bore and chamber are chrome lined. The assembly also incorporates M4-style feed ramps and a barrel extension. The barrel is high-pressure tested and magnetic-particle inspected.

A matte black manganese-phosphate finish covers the exterior. The barrel has a threaded muzzle, a non-fluted profile and no sights. A muzzle thread pitch and included muzzle device are not established.

This standalone barrel is offered in New Condition. It is a barrel component, not a complete firearm or serialized receiver.
