FN 509C MRD Compact 9mm Luger 3.70" 10+1 Striker-Fired Pistol

The FN 509C MRD is the optics-ready variant of FN America's compact striker-fired service pistol, chambered in 9mm Luger with a 10+1 capacity. Built around a 3.70" steel barrel with a recessed target crown, the 509C MRD pairs a steel slide finished in matte black PVD with FN's polymer frame for a compact, everyday-carry-friendly footprint that still accepts all standard FN 509 higher-capacity magazines.

The slide features the FN Low Profile Optics Mounting System, giving the pistol a direct-mount interface for most popular micro red dots on the market. The cut is designed to co-witness with the supplied iron sights, so a shooter can run iron sights, an optic, or both without giving up functionality. Aggressive front and rear slide serrations aid in press checks and manipulation, and the ambidextrous controls make the 509C MRD fully usable for both right- and left-handed shooters.

Ergonomics are a strong point of the 509 family. The black polymer frame ships with interchangeable backstraps so users can dial in their preferred grip fit, while the integrated Picatinny accessory rail under the dust cover provides a mounting platform for weapon lights and lasers.
