FN 509 Midsize MRD 9mm Luger 4" 10+1 Semi-Auto Pistol

The FN 509 Midsize MRD is a striker-fired, mid-size service pistol chambered in 9mm Luger and built around a black polymer frame with a black-finished slide. It pairs a 4" barrel with an overall length of 7.4" and a carry weight of 26.5 oz, offering a balance of shootability and concealability for daily carry and defensive use.

This MRD (Mini Red Dot) variant features an optics-ready slide cut for mounting micro red dot sights, complemented by FN's fixed 3-dot luminescent co-witness iron sights. The pistol uses a double-action striker-fired trigger system and ships with no manual safety, relying on the trigger safety for carry. An interchangeable backstrap system allows the shooter to tune the grip fit, and the barrel is cut with a 1:10" RH twist for consistent performance with a wide range of 9mm duty and defensive ammunition.

Out of the box, the FN 509 Midsize MRD ships with two (2) 10-round magazines for a total 10+1 capacity, making it compliant for restricted-capacity jurisdictions. Finished in black on both frame and slide, it arrives ready for an optic, a holster, and everyday defensive use.
