The FN 509 CC Edge is a 9mm Luger duty-grade striker-fired pistol engineered for serious defensive and competition use. This configuration stands out with a factory 4.20" threaded barrel finished in gold Cerakote and a compensator mounted to the muzzle for flatter recoil and faster follow-up shots.

Built around a black polymer frame, the pistol carries a stainless steel slide finished in graphite PVD. The slide features both a factory optic cut and lightening cuts with full serrations for easy press checks and manipulations. Co-witnessing-height fiber optic front sights align with common micro red dots, and four MRD mounting plates are included to fit a wide range of optics.

The pistol operates as a double-action-only (DAO) striker-fired handgun with a clean, consistent trigger pull and short reset. It runs a 10+1 capacity, ships with three 10-round magazines, weighs 25.5 oz, measures 7.5" overall, and uses a 1:10 rifling twist to stabilize the broadest range of defensive 9mm loads. Interchangeable backstraps help tailor the grip to hand size.
