The Federal Premium Prairie Storm FS is a 12 Gauge upland-bird shotshell built around Federal's FLITECONTROL FLEX wad and FLITESTOPPER steel pellets, engineered to put tight, consistent steel-shot patterns on the ground for hunters chasing upland game birds across open country.

Each 2.75" shell is loaded with 1-1/8 oz of #3 steel shot at a muzzle velocity of 1600 fps, seated on a brass base. The FLITECONTROL FLEX wad regulates the shot column through the bore and choke to prevent the base-wad blow-by that wrecks patterns from typical steel loads, while the FLITESTOPPER pellet is designed for clean, ethical kills on upland birds. Federal reports the combination places more than 75% of pellets inside a 30-inch circle at 40 yards, giving hunters the reach and pattern density needed on open prairie and field edges.
