Federal Premium Gold Medal 338 Lapua Magnum 250gr Sierra MatchKing BTHP - Box or Case

The Federal Premium Gold Medal 338 Lapua Magnum load is centerfire rifle ammunition developed for competition, long-range shooting and target shooting. This Premium model in the Gold Medal series uses a 338 Lapua Magnum cartridge loaded with a Sierra MatchKing boat-tail hollow-point bullet.

The established Bullet Weight is 250 gr. Each cartridge combines a uniform match jacket with a Federal brass case, specially formulated propellant and a benchrest-quality Gold Medal primer. The Boxer centerfire-primed cases are noncorrosive and reloadable. This load is not lead-free.

Published Muzzle Velocity is 2950 fps, while published Muzzle Energy is 4830 ft lbs. The 1.595" MatchKing bullet has published ballistic coefficients of 0.587 G1 and 0.318 G7.
