The Federal Premium FireStick is a sealed, pre-measured 50 Caliber muzzleloader propellant system that loads into the breech much like a shotgun shell. Each FireStick houses 100 grains of Hodgdon Triple Eight blackpowder substitute inside a waterproof polymer hull, eliminating the loose powder and powder measures that come with traditional muzzleloader charges.

Designed exclusively for the Traditions NitroFire muzzleloading rifle, the FireStick seats in the breech and is ignited by a standard 209 shotgun primer. The sealed polymer hull keeps the propellant dry in wet field conditions, and the prepackaged charge fires cleanly without the open-powder mess typical of conventional muzzleloader propellants.

Federal pairs the FireStick with its Trophy Copper and Lead Tipped muzzleloader bullets for a complete in-line muzzleloader hunting system suited to whitetail and similar big game hunting.
