Loaded in a heavy 3" hull, this round delivers a substantial 1-5/8 oz shot charge of #6 copper-plated lead shot at a muzzle velocity of 1350 fps, putting serious energy on target when it counts.

What sets Prairie Storm FS apart from standard upland loads is Federal's proprietary FLITECONTROL FLEX rear-opening wad. The FLEX wad keeps the shot column tightly grouped through the bore and well past the muzzle, dramatically tightening patterns at extended ranges - exactly what is needed when a long-tailed rooster flushes wild across a picked cornfield.
