The Federal Fusion Component bullet brings the proven performance of Federal's bonded hunting technology to handloaders building their own .270 Winchester ammunition. Designed in the same family as Federal's factory Fusion loads, these component bullets feature the line's signature molecularly fused jacket, where a copper jacket is electro-chemically bonded to a pressure-formed lead core to virtually eliminate jacket-core separation on impact.

At 130 grains with a .277 diameter, a sectional density of 0.242, and a ballistic coefficient of .367, this Fusion Soft Point is a versatile mid-weight projectile for .270 Win handloads. Federal's bonded construction delivers the largest expansion and highest weight retention in its class, making these bullets well suited for deer and similar big game hunting.
