Faxon Firearms Rimfire 10/22 .22 LR 16" Heavy Fluted Barrel - Nitride - 416-R Stainless

The Faxon Firearms Rimfire Plinker Series barrel is a drop-in replacement tube built specifically for the Ruger 10/22 rimfire platform. Machined from 416-R stainless steel and finished in a salt bath nitride coating, this 16-inch barrel is cut to a heavy fluted bull profile (.920" diameter) that drops straight into a 10/22 receiver.

Chambered in .22 LR Sporting, the barrel features 6-groove rifling at a 1:16 twist rate, optimized for high-velocity .22 LR ammunition. A recessed target crown protects the muzzle and supports consistent bullet release, while 1/2x28 threads at the muzzle accept a suppressor or other muzzle device.

Heavy fluting along the full length of the bull profile reduces overall weight and increases surface area for improved cooling during extended range sessions. The result is a lightweight, accurate barrel ready for plinking, training, small-game hunting, or precision rimfire work.
