Faxon Firearms Match Series AR-15 223 Wylde 16" Gunner Barrel - Nitride

The Faxon Firearms Match Series Gunner AR-15 barrel is a 16" replacement barrel chambered in 223 Wylde. Its chamber is suitable for 223 Remington ammunition and 5.56 NATO pressures, making this configuration applicable to training, competition, and duty builds.

Faxon machines the barrel from gun-barrel-quality 416R stainless steel with a Gunner profile. This contour retains more material toward the rear, then transitions to a lighter Pencil-style section forward of the gas block. The barrel uses a mid-length gas system with a .625" gas-block journal measuring 1.9" long.

The bore features 5R button rifling with a 1:8 twist. A black salt-bath nitride finish is applied to the interior and exterior. At the muzzle, 1/2x28 threads accompany an 11-degree recessed target crown. The installed M4 barrel extension has a Nickel-Teflon/NP3 coating.

Quality-control steps include stress relieving, air-gauge testing, magnetic-particle inspection, and headspace verification. This current-production AR-15 barrel is offered in New Condition.
