The Faxon Firearms Match Series 6.5 Grendel 18" Gunner profile AR-15 barrel is a precision rifle-grade barrel purpose-built for the 6.5 Grendel Type II cartridge, delivering the long-range accuracy and down-range energy this round is known for. Machined in-house at Faxon's Cincinnati, Ohio facility from 416R stainless steel with a Gunner profile, this 18" barrel is fully stress relieved, air-gauge tested, and MPI inspected to ensure consistent, match-grade performance right out of the box.

The bore is cut with 5R button rifling at a 1:8 twist rate, optimized to stabilize a wide range of 6.5 Grendel bullet weights. The 5R rifling profile reduces bullet jacket deformation and improves accuracy by eliminating the sharp rifling edges that contribute to bore fouling and friction. A black nitride (QPQ) finish inside and out provides exceptional corrosion resistance, surface hardness, and lubricity while maintaining tight dimensional tolerances. The muzzle is finished with an 11-degree target crown to protect the bore and ensure uniform bullet release at the muzzle.

Chambered for the 6.5 Grendel Type II cartridge and paired with a mid-length gas system, this barrel ships ready to drop into an AR-15 upper assembly.
