The Faxon Firearms Match Series heavy fluted AR-10 barrel is purpose-built for precision long-range work in 6.5 Creedmoor. It pairs a 20" heavy profile with a 1:8 twist rate and 5R button rifling for a barrel that holds tight groups and treats bullets gently as they transition down the bore.

The blank is machined from 416R stainless steel and finished with a black nitride coating for high wear and corrosion resistance, while the extension wears an NP3 nickel-Teflon finish for smooth, reliable bolt engagement. Full-length heavy fluting sheds weight and increases surface area for faster heat dissipation during extended strings of fire, all without sacrificing the rigidity that drives consistent accuracy.

This barrel is a drop-in fit for the AR-10 / LR-308 platform and is well suited to competition, hunting, and precision-rifle applications. It is finished in black to match most AR-10 receivers and handguards and ships ready for installation.
