The Faxon Firearms Match Series .338 ARC barrel is a precision 9-inch drop-in for the AR-15 platform, purpose-built for the compact, high-performance .338 ARC cartridge. Machined from solid 416R stainless steel bar stock, this Gunner-profile barrel is finished in a durable Black Nitride coating that reduces friction and extends service life.

Featuring a fast 1:5 twist rate, the barrel is optimized to stabilize heavy .338-caliber projectiles, making it ideal for hunting, suppressed use, and short-barrel applications. The barrel is 5R button rifled, Magnetic Particle Inspected, and crowned with an 11-degree target crown for consistent accuracy. The Gunner profile keeps weight manageable while maintaining rigidity at the breech.

This barrel is designed for a pistol-length gas system with a .750" gas block journal (1.9" journal length) and includes a standard M4 barrel extension for direct fitment into any mil-spec AR-15 upper receiver. Muzzle threads are cut to 5/8x24, accommodating a wide range of muzzle devices and suppressors.
